On Monday 23rd November, Grace Grimmer and Hayley Murphy (Year 8) attended a Leadership Conference run by Cricket Victoria at Melbourne Girls’ College. The conference aimed to work on young girls’ leadership skills and knowledge with workshops, lectures and a cricket game at the end of the day. Grace and Hayley were lucky enough to meet superstar Australian cricketers Meg Lanning and Sarah Elliott. Both students aimed to take what they have learnt and bring it to MGSC and their sporting clubs outside of school. Well done and go Mentone!
